Well so it was this weekend we went to check out the Scarecrow festival put on annually by the town of Barton Mills. This year's theme was celebrity scarecrows. Let me just start out by saying that the day was overall really fun. It was a gorgeous sunny day, which was a nice change, lately the weekdays have been sunny and it would insist on raining on the weekend. So the sun made everyone excited about going out and wandering around. We also discovered that Barton Mills also has some amazing homes with beautiful gardens, that on this occasion were open to the public. Some of the pictures we captured are available in our Flickr account. Okay so with all honesty and respect for some of the amazing scarecrows we saw they end up seeming rather creepy to me. And altogether the experience is a little odd. Not sure why it feels that way, and it was still fun, but even looking at the pictures it still seems strange. Oh well we had a great time and we hung out with some friends who live in the area afterward. Which was nice because we had all had too much sun. If that is actually possible...
